Peccioli is a traditional, small , Italian town with a population if approximately 5000 people. The town is located in the Province of Pisa in the Region of Tuscany, Italy.
Peccioli enjoys an elevated position from where you can admire the local countryside. On arriving at the town there is a small square with a car park, church and a couple of cafes and restaurants. Parking here is limited to one hour but around the corner there is a long stay car park.
From the two car parks you can walk past the parking area and through into the historic streets lined with small shops, banks, restaurants and cafes. The focal point of the town is the main open square surrounded by attractive buildings and the main administrative headquarters for the town.
Peccioli is an ideal base to visit Pisa, Livorno, Pontedera and many other historic towns in the province. To visit Florence it is best to drive to Pontedera and park there and catch the train which is on a direct route into the centre of Florence.
