Located near
Malaga airport , the 18 hole par 72 Guadalhorce
Club de Golf course offers a distinct challenge.
The first nine are a bit hilly and fairly open,
whilst the back nine are flat with a few water
hazards.
The front nine at the Guadalhorce golf course
has a distinctively European feel about it, with
its slightly rolling terrain and tricky greens,
especially the long green at the 4th.
Guadalhorce Club de Golf was originally conceived
by a group of Malaga players who wished to create
a private club when there was far less golf facilities
around. An investor Kauko Rastas helped turn the
idea into reality and it opened in 1989
The club house at Guadalhorce is an 18th century
Andalucian mansion which has been restored in
grand style. |
