Real Club de
Golf Sotogrande was opened 1964 andis one of the
coast's finest golf clubs and also one of the
best courses. On a very quiet site, encircled
by majestic houses and enhanced with numerous
trees (pine, olive, oak, eucalyptus and palm trees).
It is at once harder course than you would like
and easier than it looks. This is partly because
of the virtual absence of rough, enabling long
hitters to open their shoulders with no worries
other than avoiding the numerous water hazards,
concentrated particularly over the last holes.
