The 18 hole Golf Torrequebrada course is one
of the most challenging on the Costa del Sol,
known locally as "the Beast". There
are water hazards, large bunkers and undulating
greens make it a hard track and often windy
The course, designed by Jose Gancedo was opened
in 1976 making it one of the more established
golf courses on the Cost del Sol and hosted
the Spanish Open in 1979.
The course offers a lot of facilities including
showers and the restaurant is set above the
18th fairway, offering attractive views.
The are 8 dog legs which makes this golf course
a very technical challenge. The 18 holes of
Golf Torrequebrada are situated between the
mediterranean sea and the mountains. It is rich
in tropical vegetation and birds.
