Villa Olimpica is an extremely spacious villa on the edge of Competa with stunning views to the town, surrounding countryside and the coast. In addition to the villa's own private plunge pool with surrounding terrace, there is a magnificent roof terrace where you can dine and relax around the built-in BBQ, enjoying the panoramic views. Villa Olimpica is set in its own grounds with grape vines and fruit trees and overlooks the National Park. There is a weekly market in the nearby village of Competa which also has great restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops and the town of Torrox is only a short drive away if you can't find what you need in Competa. There are a range of excellent beaches a short drive away, not forgetting the wonderful Aqua Park at Velez Malaga with an abundance of slides and rides. The Alhambra Palace in Granada, Gibraltar and Seville are approximately 2 hours drive for the more adventurous.

Bedrooms Bedroom 1 with double bed, en-suite bath and shower and door leading to roof terrace. Bedroom 2 with double bed and en-suite. Bedroom 3 with bunk beds and single bed with en-suite. There is also a sofa bed in the main living area.
Bathrooms Total of 4 bathrooms, 1 with bath, shower and WC and bidet and 3 with shower and WC.
Kitchen The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, fridge, fridge/freezer, microwave, ample cupboard and work top space.
Living Room/Dining Area The living room has large TV with sky digital basic channels, video player with large selection of all your old favourite videos and double sofa bed. The dining area is between the living room and kitchen. There is also a games room with full size pool table.
Cleaning/Linen Linen is included in the price and will be changed every Saturday. Towels are not provided.
Outside The garden area is surrounded by pine trees with grapevines down the mountain and fruit trees. There is outdoor furniture around the pool and on the roof terrace. The pool measures approx 12'x12' and is totally private.

Booking Notes You will need to complete a booking form confirming you have read the terms and conditions. Bookings are from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday. You will need to pay 25% non refundable deposit with the balance being paid 8 weeks before travel. A security deposit of £200 will also be required.
Villa Olimpica is only about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Competa with the full compliment of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Competa is part of Andalucia, the Southern most province in Spain. It is an area famed for its wine, olives, oranges, avocados and the best honey ever! It is a quiet village with about 4000 residents but its popularity with tourist visitors means there are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a weekly market and souvenir shops. Competa also has a central plaza that is usually the meeting place for visitors and locals alike. You may even see the local goat herder wondering around the countryside with his herd of goats. The nearby National Park dominates the view to the North with fantastic views of the mountains. There is also a natural waterfall in the middle of the mountains alongside the winding dirt tracks which has ice cold natural spring water as a bonus when you arrive which you drink and bathe in. A range of excellent beaches ar 17 km's or so down the mountain along at the resorts of Torrox, Nerja (location of the Balcon de Europa) and Torre del Mar (the coastal resort of Velez Malaga). Other tourist attractions include the Caves of Nerja, and the Aqua Park at Velez Malaga (just outside Torre del Mar) with lots of slides for both young and old together with a wave machine. There are also the plentiful street markets to pick up a few bargains. Andalucia is a land strongly influenced by the Moors with distinctive architecture, numerous white walled villages nestling in the mountains. The villages remain distinctly Spanish with English rarely spoken. Further along, approximately 2 hours away are Granada with the Alhambra Palace, Gibraltar, Seville and the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is also possible to get a ferry across Morocco for a day trip from Malaga. If you fancy a bit of life in the fast lane then you may like to visit Torremolinos for the day which is about an hours drive drive away. There is an even larger aqua park there.
Coast/Beaches The nearest beaches are in Torre del Mar and Torrox Costa and are approx 17km down the mountain and 20 min drive. The popular resort of Nerja is approx 30 min's drive.
Golf The nearest golf course is Baviera Golf Course and is based in Velez Malaga approx 20 min's drive down the mountains.
Travel & Distances The nearest airport is Malaga which is approx 60km from Villa Olimpica taking approx 1 hour by car. Competa is approx 10 min walk, also close by is Torrox, Canillas de Albaidia and Arches, both a short ride in the car and both with more supermarkets, restaurants and souvenir shops.
