Description |
Villa Altair is a recently built detached villa
which is located in the popular resort of Galé
with its lovely sandy beaches. The beach is just
2km away and there is good selection of restaurants
within 1km of the villa. The old town of Albufeira
just 10 minutes drive away. In addition the Algarve
shopping mole is just 6km away near the pretty
little village of Guia with the Golf course of
Salgados just 2.9Km away. Aquatic Parks, Zoomarine
and the Albufeira Marina are also just a short
drive away. The property benefits from panoramic

Accommodation |
The accommodation is on two levels and consists,
on the ground floor of entrance hallway leading
to the spacious lounge / dining room. Entertainment
is provided here with Wide-screen Flat panel TV,
a DVD Player and a music centre. From the living
room there is a fully fitted kitchen with modern
appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine,
microwave oven, fridge-freezer, oven and hob. In
addition, there is a twin bedroom with en-suite
bathroom and a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor
landing where there a master double bedrooms having
an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and access
to a spacious balcony which offers sea and coastal
views. There are two twin bedrooms with en-suite
bathrooms on this level. The villa is furnished
and equipped to a high standard throughout and benefits
from air-conditioning in all the bedrooms and main
living areas, making it ideal for our most discerning
clientèle
Double patio doors from the living lead out onto
a spacious covered terrace. A second set of patio
doors gives access straight to the pool, sun terraces
and gardens. The lovely 8m x 5m swimming pool has
a ladder and Roman steps for access as well as a
poolside shower. The brick built Barbeque and terrace
furniture will allow you enjoy true ‘Alfresco’
dining. The villa offers good privacy with hedges
surrounding the enclosed plot. The ornamental flower
beds, shrubs, trees and lawns make up the well kept
pleasant gardens. Being conveniently located within
walking distance of the nearest shops and restaurants
Villa Altair is ideal for couples and families seeking
a quiet relaxing holiday.

Albufeira / Galé
Albufeira started as a small fishing village is
now one of the most well-known holiday resorts
on the Algarve. It still holds some of its old
charm in the narrow streets and white washed houses
in the “old town”, being more traditional
with the square, to sit and watch the world pass
by and the small bistros and cafes. The “Strip”
is in the “new town” of Albufeira,
this is where the action happens, and this is
more up-dated, modernised area of the town. There
are bars, night clubs, hotels and a lot of activities.
There is plenty to do for people of all ages.
Coast/Beaches
There are over 21 beaches in the Albufeira
area. With the fine sand and beautiful turquoise
sea. All of the beaches are safe; most of them
have tourist or sports facilities on them.
Galé: Stretches for miles, between cliffs, has
a wide variety of tourist facilities.
Castelo: A small cove with natural beauty.
Coelha: A small beach between cliffs.
Sao Rafael and Vigia: Situated between great rock
formations, has tourist facilities.
Baleeira: a Broad crescent of sand opposite Albufeira.
Albufeira Beach: Long strip along the city, it
has three beaches (Peneco, Pescadores and Inatel)
Oura, Balaia, Maria Luisa and Olhos de Agua: a
series of beaches surrounded by cliffs with tourist
and sports facilities.
Falesia: endless miles of beach surrounded by
cliffs with tourist and sports facilities
Golf
There are 3 golf courses near Albufeira, Salgados;
this is the symbol of Portuguese golf, testing
your skills to the max. It is situated close to
the sea, with many lakes, and the sea breeze to

in Pine Wood, it is a 9-hole, original course

Entertainment & Nightlife
The main place for night life in Albufeira is
along “The Strip”, this is over 3km
of bars, restaurants, shops and night-clubs. The
strip is not only down one main road, but also
leads down some of the back streets, where some
of the best bars are hidden. This is the most
popular place in Albufeira. A few km out of town,
on the way to Villamoura, there is a nightclub
called Kadoc; it has 5 dance floors and houses
over 7000 people. There is also another big nightclub
just out of the town, this has 3 dance floors
and plays a large variety of music.
If you like something more up-market and quieter
there are some nice bars and bistros in the pedestrianised
area of the town and also some lovely little bars
and restaurants in the old town.

Albufeira is 40 km west of Faro Airport.
