Location Details And Activities
Located west of Albufeira within a ten minute drive from the lively resort centre, the village of Galé has something to satisfy every taste: beautiful beaches, excellent sport facilities, great for walking holidays, beach relaxing, cycling holidays, watersports. A wider selection of shops is available at Algarve Shopping centre at nearby Guia, a short drive from Galé. This double storey shopping mall has over a hundred shops including some recognizable international brands . There is also a bowling alley here, a hypermarket, restaurants and a cinema which shows films in English with subtitles.
Coast/Beaches Galé has wide sandy beach that stretches for miles between coves and cliffs with a variety of tourist facilities. Towards Albufeira there are two small beaches, Castelo and Coelha. Albufeira has long strip of sand made up of three beaches: Peneco, Pescadores and Inatel with all tourist facilities in the town.
Golf The nearest golf course is Salgados a Links course with plenty of natural water hazards.
