Location Details And Activities
Gale and its 5kms long stretch of sandy beach is only 1.6km. The beach and golf course of Salgados beach is only 4 minutes drive, not to mention all the other top golf courses the Algarve has to offer all within 20-40 minutes drive. There are more beaches in the vicinity which are worth visiting, such as Sao Rafael and Coelho beach. Many of them have wonderful beach restaurants and snack bars where you can enjoy the sea view and the natural beauty of the various coves and long stretches of sand. The Albufeira marina is only a 5minute drive away and offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants. Albufeira old town is approximately 5kms away. This is where you will find an active nightlife for the ones seeking for entertainment, or a shopping paradise for all tastes and pockets in the cobbled pedestrian streets.
Coast/Beaches Gale has wide sandy beach that stretches for miles between coves and cliffs with a variety of tourist facilities. Towards Albufeira there are two small beaches, Castelo and Coelha. Albufeira has long strip of sand made up of three beaches: Peneco, Pescadores and Inatel with all tourist facilities in the town.
Golf The nearest golf course is Salgados a Links course with plenty of natural water hazards.
