Villa Maria is a modern, detached property with private pool and garden in the popular resort of Alcaidesa on the far west side of the Costa del Sol. This superb luxury villa is furnished and equipped to a high standard and is ideally located for a peacefully and relaxing holiday. The villa benefits from air conditioning in all the bedrooms and beautiful gardens surrounding a large swimming pool. Being set above the sort after peaceful and unspoiled resort of Alcaidesa it offers breath taking views of the beautiful safe sandy beach. There is a good quality Chiringuitos on the beach along with numerous shops and restaurants in the resort. All the attractions of Gibraltar including plenty of nightlife are just 14km away and for golfers you have the Alcaidesa links course and resort of Sotogrande with its famous courses and fine marina is only 12km away. Other popular resorts that are within easy driving distance include Estepona, San Pedro,, Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Living Room
Large lounge / dining room with wood burning stove for winter use. Stunning sea views. Two doors lead out to terrace that looks out to sea and pool below. Three sofas, TV dining table seating 8.
Other
All bedrooms have doors leading onto upper patio area with large fixed umbrella steps. There is a wicker garden seating area with sofa, chairs and garden table. Leading down to pool with patio area with 8 sun beds.
Cleaning/towels/
All towels and bed linen supplied. The linen is changed and property cleaned weekly. Extra maid service or catering can be supplied at extra cost
Accessibility
Property does have 3 steps into from entrance level and down to bedrooms. There are also steps from upper patio to lower patio and pool.
Outside
Well tended lawn and garden. Gardener and pool man visit each week. On first floor level there is a large covered patio area with lighting and dining table and chairs for 8. This has stunning views to sea and pool below.

Location Details And Activities |
Coast/Beach
It is a 10 minute walk to our local beach. In high season there are usually beach huts serving drink and food. The beach has views of Gibraltar. Tarifa, famous for surfing is approx 30 mins away by car.
Golf
Alcaidesa has two golf courses. A links and Heathlands course. La Canada, Almenara, Sotogrande, San Rogue, Duquesa and famous Valderrama are a short drive, approx 15 mins.
Other Activities
In nearby Sotogrande 10 min drive are two tennis centres, where you can play or children can have lessons if required. There is a riding school in Sotogrande where you can go for a hack or have lessons. Polo and sailing is also available nearby.
Travel
Gibraltar is closest. 15 mins by car. Fights daily by Easyjet, BA & monarch. Malaga and Jerez is about 1 hour by car. Car hire is essential if you want to travel easily.
Distances
There are large supermarkets 10 min drive away in La Linea near Gibraltar or Pueblo Nuevo. Seville is approx a 2 hr drive Mijas, famous for its pottery is about 1 hour. Rhoda and Cadiz are good places to visit. There is a small shop a 10 min walk away selling bread , milk etc
Further Details
In Alcaidesa there is a chemist shop and bar / restaurant open all year. There is a beach restaurant attached to a 4* hotel. In nearby Pueblo Nuevo there are banks, bars and restaurants. There are some good local restaurants within 5 min car drive. Excellent Thai & Italian restaurant 5 mins by car. There is a small park for children to play 10 mins walk from the villa.
