The La Trocha Centro Comercial
shopping centre is located on the outskirts of
Coin approximately 25 minutes from Marbella on
the coast. La Trocha has been built to a very
high standard and the quality is evident throughout.
Water cascades down the glass frontage and inside
you will find the attention to detail has not
been skipped. The toilets, with slate tiles and
granite are probably the most luxurious public
toilets in any shopping centre on the Costa del
Sol.
At first, it's hard to see how the could justify
spending so much money on a shopping centre for
a relatively small town. However, other retail
units are being built around the centre and La
Trocha us designed to draw customers in from over
20 towns and village in the local area. There
is an excellent El Corte Ingles food hall and
a Dunnes store selling homeware and clothing plus
a few important British food lines regarded as
essentials by expats.
The multi screen cinema mainly shows films in
Spanish though they usually have at least one
original English version available.
