Malaga Province - Costa del Sol & Inland The Malaga province is split into six main areas, Malaga City, La Axarquia, Antequera, Guadalhorce, Ronda and Costa del Sol West. Malaga is the most well know of the regions in Andalucia and one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe. Some of the well known inland and coastal towns and villages include Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Estepona, Torremolinos, Nerja, Frigiliana, Mijas, Ronda, Antequera and Casares. The Malaga city itself is often overlooked by tourists who arrive at the airport and then head for main coastal resorts, however, it is well worth taking a trip to the historic center and port of the city. You can take a trip on an open top bus that will show you the sights and enjoy the shopping and dining in some of the best stores and restaurants in the area. There is an enormous choice of private accommodation here and a very wide selection of self catering apartments and villas for rent. If you are renting an apartment, you should check with the owner that the entire development has been completed and that there is no major works continuing. |
